No one replied, so I figured it out myself, here is what I did. I used a FET. Mine is a 2N3819. Basically, when voltage is applied to the middle terminal of the FET, resistance is changed across the two outer leads. Note that unlike a BJT, the Drain and Source of the FET (the outer terminals) are interchangable. So, I put the negative voltage out from the Kenton into the middle terminal (gate), put the positive out put from the Kenton on one of the outer terminals, and the positive lead from the foot pedal plug on the Odyssey on the other outer lead of the FET. A capcitor is placed across the outer terminals of the FET to reduce zipping. Looking at it now, maybe I should have put the capacitor across the Kenton output. Oh well, it works. Oh, the ground lead from the Odyssey's foot pedal switch likes to remain unconnected. I am not sure about this either... but like I said, it works... I can now control my Odyssey's VCF frequency from my MIDI keyboard and sequencer. Coooool.
